Tri-Mer is a worldwide market leader in the Air Pollution Control system for glass furnaces. Our experience ranges from float to container, from fiber to tableware and specialty glass. Our turnkey solutions cover greenfield projects and retrofitting, applying different technologies aimed to satisfy customer needs and not only ensuring emission compliance. Our field service helps applying our most recent technologies to reduce sorbent consumptions, enhance efficiency of existing systems, allow furnace size increase with minor modifications of existing flue gas treatment systems. Our Waste Heat Recovery systems are suitable for power, compressd air and thermal energy production.

Biomass and Waste incinerators
Incineration and gasification of waste and biomass can take advantage of Tri-Mer's high efficiency solutions for dedusting, acid gas scrubbing, NOx and dioxins abatement. The application of high temperature treatment allows the use of "clean" economizers, increasing the efficiency of the boilers. NOx treatment solutions can reach efficiency above 90% in a range of temperature from 150 to 450°C. TGT special DSI systems can remove SOx and HCl to barely measurable levels, and our wet systems can complete the treatment if needed.

Cement&Lime
TGT high temperature ceramic filtration systems are perfectly applied to kilns and clinker coolers, allowing the use of hot, clean gases for process heat recovery or for the implementation of energy production with ORC systems. The wide range of NOx treatment available (SNCRs, SCRs, Catalytic filtration) allows us to implement denitrification from 150 to 1000°C.

The large mobile sources of PM, SOx , NOx, such as the diesel locomotives, ships, truck parkings+small power station and ships are sources of massive amounts of “diesel particulate emission” rich with “nuclei mode” sized particles which have been definitely declared to be mutagenic and therefore source of external side effects on the health of thousands of millions of persons worldwide. TGT may reduce these emissions by 90%+ contributing to contemporarily reduce the side effects on the exposed populations.
